Two Drone Image films selected in 2017 DFFANZ

Drone Image is proud to announce that two of our films have been selected for this year's Australia and New Zealand Drone Film Festival (DFFANZ). This is Australia's most widely broadcast drone film festival with screenings across Darwin, Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Perth, Hobart, Adelaide, Brisbane, Auckland, Christchurch and Wellington during October 2017. This year the festival received over 260 submissions, from this selection Drone Image's films

Drone Image film selected in UK Wheels and Fins Festival

Drone Image film South Coast has been selected in the UK Wheels and Fins Film Festival. Screening of all of our Official Selections will take place at the wonderful independent Palace Cinema in Broadstairs, Kent (UK) where there will also be presentations from key people in the sports cinema world. The event will be followed by drinks at harpers. All Official Selection films will be screened live

South Coast selected in US Film Festivals

South Coast has been selected in the Long Island International Film Festival and Mayday Film Festival in Indiana. South Coast has been a finalist in both Australian Drone Film Festivals, winning Best Cinematographer at the Blue2Blue Australian Drone Film Festival and has been selected in numerous other international festivals for 2017.

Scott Palmer wins Best Cinematographer

Scott Palmer with DJI Inspire 1 used to film South Coast Drone Image WA owner Scott Palmer is delighted to be awarded Best Cinematographer in the 2017 Blue2Blue Australian Drone Film festival with his Short film "South Coast". The category and prize are sponsored by UAVAIR. The 2017 Blue2Blue Screening and Awards Night was held at Avoca Beach Picture Theatre, NSW on Friday

Sealys Canning Vale Factory

Last Sunday at Drone Image we were out at the new Sealy Factory in Canning Vale, Western Australia shooting some still photography and aerial video. The new state of the art Sealy facility has just been finished and looks fantastic. For this photo shoot we used the DJI Inspire and X3 Camera.
